Symphony Spotlight: Symphony Spotlight is a 45-minute program featuring every instrument of the orchestra (flute, oboe, clarinet, bassoon, French horn, trumpet, trombone, percussion, 2 violins, viola, cello and bass). This ensemble, involving 13 CSO musicians, performs music featuring each instrument, while focusing on the various sections of the orchestra – winds, brass, percussion and strings. In addition to familiar classics by history’s greatest composers, the music includes works from Star Wars, Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, and The Wizard of Oz.
